Grain Augers

A large Canadian grain auger manufacturer was seeking clutch solutions that would provide added safety, control and convenience to their line of augers which are powered by different sized engines. The grain augers are used to transfer grain from storage silos into trucks for transport.

To meet the application requirements, Warner Electric engineers provided two different clutches, a modified CMS (Commercial Mag Stop) clutch and a modified GT300 clutch. Read Article

Bauer Supplies Gear Motors for Crane Used to Construct World’s Longest Cable-Stayed Bridge

A crane manufactured by Mostovik Crane has been developed to lift 12m long panels for the Russky Island bridge to a special delivery barge. Capable of transferring panels that each weigh over 300 tons, and of operating in extreme temperatures, the unique crane relies on gear motors supplied by Bauer.

In September, 2012 Russky Island, Russia, will host the 24th meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) leaders – a forum of 21 Pacific Rim countries that seeks to promote free trade and economic cooperation throughout the region.
