TB Wood’s, an industry leading designer and manufacturer of mechanical power transmission equipment for industrial control, exhibited at the 116th Metalcasting Congress in Columbus, OH.
The Metalcasting Congress is North America’s largest annual event for the metalcasting industry, combining an exhibition of industry suppliers with technical, management and research presentations from the foremost experts around the world. Sponsored by the American Foundry Society (AFS), this year’s 116th event showcased the latest advancements in metalcasting.
Founded in 1857, TB Wood’s, Inc. began as a foundry and machine shop producing wood burning stoves until the turn of the century when they entered into the power transmission industry. The TB Wood’s product line includes flat belted drives and line shafting, V-belt drive systems, quick detachable (“QD”) bushings, variable speed pulleys, synchronous timing belt drive systems, Sure-Flex® couplings and Dura-Flex® couplings.
The exhibition drew more than 200 metalcasting industry suppliers, and the Congress provided more than 100 technical presentations covering all facets of metalcasting from shop-floor production to management tactics to the latest research advancements.
